Hi, can anybody tell me if an Apple TV box can mirror your full iPod to be able to watch apps like Netflix, Itvplayer BBCiplayer and YouTube ect, and can you display your photos and play the games from your iPod on TV basically everything that's on your iPod.

I have heard about a lightening digital AV adapter but was told you won't be able to do video streaming like Netflix. Any help would be truly appreciated.

All currently supported iOS devices can do mirroring to an Apple TV. Features are app specific, for example BT Sport allows full streaming of video to the Apple TV, however Sky sports do not allow video via airplay but they do audio to external speakers.

BBC iPlayer and ITV player do full video and audio (We use an old iPad Mini to stream to an Apple TV 3 in the spare room).

As for Netflix why would you need to mirror that when it is built in to both Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 4?
