So, a little while ago, I put my 32g iPod touch through the wash for 30 minutes (yeah, I know... I'm retarded.) anyways, I let it dry, I found a desiccant pack, rice a bag, put it all together for a week and a half, and now my iPod's dry. Well, now I'm trying to hook it up to my computer (I've tried macbook, iMac, and old Dell laptop), but when I do, it just goes from its standard dark gray of being off, then flashes black for about a quarter to an eighth of a second then goes off again and repeats about every 5-7 seconds.
Now, here's where it gets weird. When I plug it into my travel charger to the wall, it works FINE! But it turns off when I unplug it, so I know the battery's dead.

Yeah, it's toast.

You could try replacing the battery (iFixit.com) or try to get it repaired, but it's likely done for.
