ok so i have a 1st gen ipod touch im using 2.0 and i decided to jailbreak my ipod so i downloaded Pwnagetool and did what it said and then when it was done there was an error message on iTunes it said "Error 2001" then i unplugged it and restarted my Macbook Pro (Late 08' Mac OS X 10.5.5) but now when i connect the ipod on to my laptop it doesnt show and my ipod is not powering up, please help me

Its in DFU mode, it is powering up, try holding the home and power buttons for ten seconds, then release the home button to turn the iPod back on. If it is successful, all is good.
You can also put it in dfu mode again by holding the power and home buttons for ten seconds, then releasing the power button while still holding the home button for five more seconds.

Are you able to update this mac to 10.5.7? It fixes a bug with DFU mode I believe, might want to try it just to makes sure
