iPod touch iPod Touch on sale... which version?

I saw this iPod Touch on sale... thinking it was probably a good buy. But, I didn't want to buy something (on behalf of someone in another country) only later to find out they'll have to pay $20.00 more to upgrade the software. And, I'm not sure if they'd have problems with iTunes updates outside the US (Brazil).

Does this come with the January update? Will they run into iTunes problems outside the US?

Well, they're using the image without the new apps, chances are its 1.1.2, or 1.1.3 without the apps.

It's the one without the new apps, the model number ends in /A. The one with the new apps ends in /B
