Has anyone notice that the ipod touch user interface is just like the iphone. In the Tech Specs of the ipod touch their is no mentions of an Operating system. i would think that it would be just like the iphone, without the cell phone functions.

I have an iPhone so I am sure I would not buy the iPod Touch. Is there a reason to get both? I understand why some would want the 160GB iPod but to get the Touch with a max of 16GB when the iPhone has 8GB, I don't see it.
My point is that these functions that are standard in most phones are not in the iPod Touch. Therefore, my meaning of 'phone functions' relate to things most phones have. The web browser is totally different than other phone web clients, so I don't include that in the phone functions.
Did anyone notice how the four icons on the iPod touch are done Leopard-style, reflected on a tabletop? As opposed to the iPhone, that is, which has them on a gray bar.

It's also thinner. But your reasoning is logical. I already ordered the iPod Touch, but am second guessing that decision as an 8GB iPhone owner. I may need to cancel that and just keep my iPod Nano order.
