iPod touch iPod Touch playing music out of only one headphone ear

So, I've got a problem playing music on my iPod Touch. It only plays out of one ear. It's been replaced 3 times, and at first the problem is gone. Then, a few days later, it plays music out of only one ear - always the same ear. Is it something I'm plugging into the headphone jack? What could be the problem here?

Have you tried different headphones ??

And have you tried the headphones in another device ??
