I have had my white iPod Touch 4G since it came out on October 12th (I think) and I got a small scratch on the screen. There is also a very small speck under the screen. Can I return it and get a full refund?

I did not really expect to get a full refund, but I thought it would be worth it to at least ask you guys what they could do about it.

Try putting a screen protector on, it might disguise the scratch as well as obviously preventing further ones from happening.

If you are sure that there is dust UNDER the screen, you can get it replaced.
I am 100% positive that there is dust under the screen. It has been there for about a month, so I know that it is under the screen. However it is small and not very noticeable. I noticed it when I was looking at a white background, and ever since then it has annoyed me.

Minor cosmetic damage happens. I wouldn't get so worked up about it, scratches happen, dust happens, dents to the back happen.

It's made to be used and enjoyed - not to stay in mint condition in the box forever.

Try the screen protector that someone else suggested. If you put it on correctly, you probably won't see a small scratch anymore.

Well you have a 1 year limited warranty, and I got my screen fixed after like 9 months in a iPhone 4 that got ran over for no fee, but for something minor, you will have to pay for it most likely.

Out of curiosity - what made you think you'd be due a 'full refund' for that?

I did not really think that I would get a full refund, but i thought it might have been a manufacturing defect (with the dust under the screen, not the scratch).

Your words: 'Can I return it and get a full refund?'

Apparently, somewhere along the way, I must have lost the ability to read . . .
