iPod touch iPod Touch- Safari + Music doesn't work

I have had a chance to play with 3 different iPod Touch's at the Apple store.

I tried listening to music while playing on safari. When I did so, safari just froze... nothing loaded. This was seen on 3 different units, and the software version was 1.1. Is this something others have noticed as well?

yes, had a couple of threads about this today. I have the same problem.

when my phone crashes while browsing and listening to music (crashes rarely now), i find that the phone is prone to successive crashes after the first. so i restart my phone whenever it crashes, and it keeps it functioning well.
