iPod touch iPod touch Screen Flicker Issue

When I have my ipod connected to any power source so that it doesn't automatically lock (turn the screen black) it automatically dims the screen after a minute. However, when it dims, no matter what brightness setting i'm on the screen flickers profusely. This is with auto-brightness on.

MY suggestion would be to send it in to Apple, as that isn't normal.

yea go return it and ask for a replacement, this is covered by warranty.
