iPod touch iPod Touch TURNS IT SELF OFF while SYNCING?

I got a new ipod today...and now every few minutes while syncing the iPod just turns itself off.

This didnt happen with my other touch...?

Anyone know why?

As long as a sync is going on, it shouldn't... are you using a laptop?

Yeah Dell laptop. The only way to stop it is to halfway slide the slider to keep the iPod going.

are you connecting your iPod directly to your computer or to a connector hub ?

That was my problem too and after connecting directly to the computer, the problem disappeared.

Are you sure it's not just the display going to sleep? It's supposed to do that...

Yeah, mine does that to me all the time. The screen just goes to sleep and it keeps on syncing my music. 😀

I have the same annoying problem

look, I don't have a laptop, I have a desktop and it powers off. (I pwned it) So I can see the boot logo and everything. And no, it's not because I used WInPwn, this has been happening to me long before Pwnage even existed.
