Red hot - Now on iTunes!
Update labeled: Bug Fixes
Oh and it's a 165MB package
802.x support? i can only hope..i would unjailbreak my ipod right now if they did this today..one can only hope
sounds like SDK prep to me
iPhone has 1.1.4 as well
it may be my bad memory, but when was the last time the Touch and the iPhone shared an update?
Please Fix The Video-out Jumpiness!
Like always... are you serious?
That was freaky... 10 minutes ago I put my broken ipod on to restore and it said 1.1.4, I assumed it was a typo as I did a quick google and no mention of new 1.1.4. But now there is, sweet. Shame I've lost all my music though.
30 MB still to download out of 165.
glad it doesn't cost money like last time...
so has anyone got this on their ipod yet, and if you do, what if any changes are there?
haha man i just jailbroke my ipod last night
tell me if 1.1.4 is worth it!
Judging by how big the package is, I would assume it's the release that will come with the SDK.
I predict SDK by Friday the latest, possible tomorrow.
nah apple would announce the SDK
nearly finished install
Just finished install
wonder what the update was.........
any new wifi support that you can see? that's all i want right now
All my previous updates have been around 160MB...
So far noticed the speed of the Maps app - swoooch panning and zooming.
is it worth it? I'm still rockin a 1.1.1 Jailbroken Touch...is it finally time for me to update and ditch JB'in?
This bug still exists.
see that's what im thinking..seeing as though i can't even use my schools wifi right now, i doesn't make sense for me to have my ipod jailbroken. if the sdk comes out in the very near future, good bye jailbreak
yes, maps does seem noticably faster
no wifi as far as i can tell
will experiment more at work, have to go now
got mine, cant tell anything is different
Yeah, I guess it's installed prep files for the SDK release.
Maybe we'll see Apple push applications onto the iTunes store, tonight or Friday
The cost was for the enhanced featureset. If you didn't want that, you could still upgrade the firmware, but not the software interface additions.
Someone will find something fun when they dissect it. In fact, I bet someone is doing it now.
Guys thanks for the info! Will check the new firmware now.
Downloading the 1.1.4 now...
Shouldn't this discussion be here?
That's for the iphone. This is the Touch forum, right?
<shrug> I suppose. The update is pretty much identical though, and there is much more discussion in that thread.
Don't know if I like the absence of a clear "Chapter" indicator instead of the new chapter sub-menu.
