I have a 1.1.3 jailbroken (Nate True) iPod Touch. When I try to change my volume setting, the slider will move but when i release it, it will return to its previous position. I uploaded a video to youtube for everyone to see. It fixed itself when restarted, but I thought it was interesting and want to know if anyone else has experienced problems like this.

Note - Video contains explicit song title.

Had the same problem.

I do not have a jailbroken iPod touch, but the same thing happened to me. I thought it might have been because there was something wrong with my screen, but everything else that used touch-screen was fine. So yeah, if you have this problem, then just go to Settings > General > (go to the bottom) Reset > Reset All Settings (NOT anything else) and everything should be fine after that. If not, try Erase All Content and Settings, and DON'T JAILBREAK YOUR IPOD TOUCH! ... especially if you've got a newer model. Wait unti GeoHot comes out with a newer Blackra1n for the newer models.
