iPod touch Ipod touch week?

Is it true that there are "bad week" ipod touches (I mean with real hardware problems)? What's the most secure week ipod to buy ( I've heard week 40+)? If I buy a brand new one from amazon, what are my chances of getting a bad week ipod(-40) touch ?

The only experience I have is that I had a week 37 go bad on me. Battery only lasted 2 hours and constant crashing before and after jailbreaking it. I returned it to best buy and got a week 39 and have no more issues. 😀

It's pretty much the same change for week 38 and on. Week 37 were the bad ones, really.
