Hello there,

I got an iPod touch this morning for Christmas. I have a wireless network in the house (through cable) and the iPod is having issues connecting to YouTube and the iTMS. It does seem to load Google okay in Safari.

I have been messing around with my router settings to no avail. I have turned off all security on the router and so on. I have looked on the Apple discussions for help but nothing solved my problem.

Any ideas?

P.S. I did manage to get one YouTube page to load - and when I click on the videos they load no problem - but when I click stuff like "Most Viewed" etc it doesn't work.

My router is a Safecom.
They allow you to go through a demo of the router settings through their website:

Let me know if anything should be definitely unchecked/checked or entered.

First thing I would do is download and update the iPod software via iTunes.

If your connection is on and off, I would suspect it's your Router, not the iPod.
