for a few months my ipod touch 2nd gen wont display anything and when i plug it in to my comp it make the noise saying it connected what can i do to fix it?

I would suggest buying a whole new iTouch. No use in paying a large portion of cash for a screen when you can get a new iTouch for cheaper. Also, has your iTouch been jailbroken?
