Any help is appreciated please!!!!

I started to jailbreak my friend's iPod touch with Greenpois0n RC6. I was running through the process of putting it in DFU mode. It didn't work the first time so I tried again. Again, it didn't work but this time, my friend's iPod touch would not turn on. I tried to turn it on with the regular method but it did not work. I plugged it into my iMac and it said that it found an iPod in recovery mode so i think this is a good sign. but the screen still won't turn on. I am pretty sure that it is the second gen iPod touch because when he restored it, it would only go up to 4.2.1. He restored it before he came over for me to jailbreak it. I don't know what to do. Please help!!!

Make sure you are jailbreaking it with the right software, with the right firmware and the right generation device.

Sometimes when it jailbreaks the screen will go dark, you have to wait for the jailbreaking process to finish.

Then you could try the home and power button hold for 30 sec. Or the power button hold for 30 secs.
