iPod touch iPod touch won't turn thro' 90

Well it will turn, but the picture or text won't go with it. And the calculator won't give me the scientific buttons. And there's a new symbol in the top bar that may be significant; a padlock with a clockwise arrow round it. Naturally, I think I have somehow locked the turn feature out, but see no way of how to undo it, if I did it. Any ideas? Thanks

Double click home button for multi tasking tray, swipe the tray from left to right, and the rotation lock button will be right there for you. 🙂
