iPod iPod Update Installers

Is it okay to delete the files found in

/Users/USER/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates ?

Because there's several hundred MB of already installed updates just kinda chillin' there.

Yes. They really aren't depended upon unless you decide to restore your iPod, then they will be used to do so. You can keep the most recent one or you will just have to redownload it if you ever brick your iPod.
