iPod USB 2.0 + Firewire cable question

Oh for f88ks sake you can xfer data over the damn FW cable. That's the whole f88king point of f88king FW is to f88king xfer f88king data. If you couldn't xfer data to/from yer iPod via FW then Apple wouldn't say that you could (see my previous post).



Why would Apple produce and sell a product that, out of the box, is incompatible w/every computer they've ever sold!

So it does work via firewire, and interesting enough if you plug both in it does firewire (I was actually curious about that). Glad I bought the cable then. Thanks for all the input.
