iPod iPod Video 5th from China (eBay)

Hey guys. For a long time I wanted to buy iPod Classic, the choice fell on iPod Video 5th, found such on eBay (for example, here https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-new-...eration-Black-Original-Packaging/152572388634). It seems like new and original, but sent from China. Can anyone come across, are they original or is it a Chinese fake?

I don't think that this is an Original brand new iPod. The earphones are different ones and the cable too. The serial number of the rear, the board and the package propably don't fit either.

I’m guess they replaced the shell and outer components to make the profuct new and remade the boxes.

Genuine new iPods are selling in the $400 at least. Not saying I wouldn’t by this. With PayPal and your credit card you’re protected. I’d chance it. Or better yet I’d get an iPod that’s been refreshed plus an ssd hd
