iPod iPod video and HD

I recently purchased a few movies on iTunes and they are in HD. Now they won't show up or sync to my iPod video(160gig). Can I convert these within iTunes to SD or a version that will allow me to put them on my iPod?
Still trying to find my way around this new iTunes 11!!

File > Create New Version. 😀

i do that but the choices are greyed out and cant select "create iPod or iphone version"

If you haven't figured it out yet, you have to download the SD version to load on the Classic.

In iTunes, go to the Purchased tab and then uncheck the HD box at the bottom right. Then you'll have the SD movies available to download. You're iTunes library content will now show HD-SD next to the movie meaning you have both versions.

Then you can sync the SD version onto the Classic.
