I dropped my Nano down the toilet (after I had used it).

Wash it out in pure (distilled) water several times.

Shake it out

Put it in a warm place for 24 hours or more (standing up so that any water vapour can escape).

My nano recovered from this and is now better than ever.

I've been TERRIFIED about this happening to my cell.
Sometimes I put it in my back pocket if I use it and then cannot locate my purse.
since I have no butt with which to feel the phone, I forget it's there until it falls out.
Every time I pass a body of water, I pat my butt, just to make sure my cell/iPod/camera is still in the pocket.

Oh man! I let it sit out today, now I just pluged it in and it has a screen up that says its charging! Although its not colored or anything, its still charging which is great and it also sometimes will switch to the apple logo when i press a button, maybe its not broken after all!
