Ipod, while supplies last

I'm going to be waiting until September 15th in the hope that the new macbook will be released by then. I have no reason to buy now since I still have my current desktop pc. I want it for college, but I have no qualms of waiting a month without a computer since campus computing labs are easy to come by.

my question: Right now I think I'm going to buy a macbook on September 15 even if the new one is not announced yet. The ipod touch deal is too big to pass up. Is it possibly/likely that the ipod touch (16 or 32 gb) will sell out by then?

16 or 32? Heck, no. The 8s will be taken out of the lineup at the iPod keynote in September anyway. It'll be 16, 32, and 64 at the refresh. You have nothing to worry about.

You really don't have much to worry about in terms of the MacBook/Pro update, either. It should very well be before September.
