iPod touch iPod with new nano feature?

As we know the new nano has got that cool feature to shuffle songs by giving the iPod a good shake. A nice feature me thinks.
You think we can get it on the touch? New or old.

It's probably entirely possible, it's just that Apple hasn't put it in the iPhone or Touch. They could be using the "shake to shuffle" as just a cool little thing that's exclusive to the iPod nano.

It wouldn't work though as an official App Store app; it would require the app having to remain open while navigating your music, and currently the SDK doesn't allow that.
