Hi,

I have a 30gb photo iPod.. it has two problems.

1) When i try to eject it from itunes, i just get a beach ball for hours and hours, and it never ejects. I have to force quit itunes, then eject the ipod from finder.

2) My other problem is that my ipod will rarely turn off when i want it to. I hold down the play button to power down, and nothing happens.. same when i choose sleep in the ipod menu.

Any ideas???
Thanks!!

Do not restore your iPod!

Why does everybody keep saying that you need to restore your iPod? I had the same problem (on a Mac) and it turns out that it was my Norton AntiVirus software causing the problem. Before you restore your iPod, check to see if you have anti-virus software with autoprotect turned on.

Why'd you even have that installed in the first place?
