but why would you want some unsanctioned adapter that costs MORE than Apple's adapter? that's ridiculous.

Apple's displays up to 720p with an HDMI connector (get a cheap DVI adapter or DVI to HDMI cable if you need it), has a dock connector pass-thru port to simultaneously charge, and is $20 cheaper than the knock-off you posted.

i'm very curious as to what features this DVI adapter you linked to provides that Apple's adapter doesnt have.
