Before updating my iPP 11 and Mini 5 to iOS 13.2, I tested photo import on my iPP 10.5 running iOS 13.2. I’m using the same card reader (Apple brand) on the Mini 5 and iPP 10.5, SD card is a 16G class 10 card.

The Mini 5 is running iOS 12.4.1. It recognizes that there are 2761 items (a mix of JPG and MOV files). The iPP 10.5 does not see any files at all to import. It does see files on other SD cards.

The iPP 11, also running iOS 12.4.1, recognizes that there are 2761 items. (Also Apple brand card reader, USB-C)

One of my main uses for these iPads is to import pictures and videos from my trail cameras. The fact that iOS 13.2 doesn’t recognize some of the files I need to import is a big problem.

Does anyone have any insight?

iOS 13.2 is in beta testing. If you are running a beta, you can put device into recovery mode to “Update” to the latest released 13.1.2 and test your SD card. Make sure you report this bug before updating back to release build.

This is expected behavior when running a beta. Things will occasionally break.
