i am ‘trying’ to watch tutorial videos for a new photo editing software I have. On my iPad Pro 12.9” Gen 2, I get about ¼ into the video and it freezes. I have tried tutorial videos from the photo editing software website itself, related Vimeo and YouTube tutorials. They all freeze (never at the same spot). My iPad Pro does not freeze for normal uses, just these videos. I have tried a hard reset of my iPP and I can restart the video, move to the spot where it froze, get a little farther into the video, only to have it freeze again. I do think it’s my iPP rather than the videos causing this issue. Any ideas for what I can to stop this nonsense, I really need to learn my new photo editing software.

ETA: IOS 11.1.1

you didn’t say if it was steaming or downloaded (I’m assuming streaming) so in that vein have you tried to download them? It could also be an issue on the server site...bandwidth overload, etc...
I’ve had a few issues with sites that I use for work that run better outside of work (our network is so tied down...) that I’ll download the video and then playback at work without it stopping and stuttering...
Sorry for not really addressing why yours is giving you issues though as it seems that everything else is running normally.

I really appreciate your answer but I looked into how to download video to iPad and too many steps for me. I have been watching videos for years on my various iPads I have had and want to do that again. I can’t help but think this freezing issue is related to the newest iOS release.
