Okay I started a new thread last night because I was having problems with split screen. I finally figured that out, but this morning Hey Siri doesn't work. I made sure to check the settings and everything is turned on in regards to Siri. I tried restarting to no avail. It worked last night, but this morning no. Pressing the home button to access Siri works.

Also, how long does it take to get to 100% charge? I let it charge 7 hours will sleeping (started at 6% btw) but this morning it's a at 80%. My air I would charge 7 hours and it would be fully charged in the morning.

I hope I don't have a dud.

@Jessica08

Are you using the 12.9" iPad Pro? Using the bundled 12w iPad charger, it should take about 3.5h to get to 80%, and about 5 hours to get to full. Alternatively, if you buy the 29w USB C charger and USB C to Lightning cable, it should take about 1.5h.

I don't think you have a dud. The charging time for the 12.9" iPad is just that slow.

Thanks for the fast reply. My problem is I used the older style adapter. I forgot the 12.9" came with the 12W adapter so I'll need to use that.
[doublepost=1482757583][/doublepost]And from my research. Hey Siri doesn't work on this device if not plugged in? That sucks. Why does my iPhone 6s do this, but not the IPP. Didn't it come out after the 6s?

It shouldn't be talking anywhere near 7 hours. I charged mine in around 3 hours from near 0% up to 100%. After about 2 weeks with my iPad Pro, I found that the 29 Watt charger could be purchased to charge it much faster. I bought it a week later and now I don't think about charging it.

How are you liking it?

And yeah, "Hey Siri" is less useful if you have to have it plugged in it to use it.

I really like it. Getting use to the size, etc. I thought something was wrong when hey Siri didn't work this morning and it wasn't fully charged. I was using the wrong adapter. I still had my old one in from my air.

A little bit different than my air but it won't take long to get used to it. :)
