Can you be more specific? You're saying you click the "+" button to add a task, and then it doesn't save any changes to that new task? Or the next time you launch the application, that task is missing completely?

Love it.
Just want to add my thanks for this app.
This is almost perfect for what i need.
The only thing that I need is for it to sync with the desktop version.
I have a lot of tasks that I deal with on a daily basis and i cannot add them all in using the iphone keyboard.
As soon as i can enter them on my computer and edit/track them on my iphone it will be my number 1 app, instantly.
Is there any plans to make a Windows version of the desktop app?
p.s. my Palpal payment will be with you the second that i can sync, without the sync i cannot really use it, with the sync its perfect for me (thin line between love and hate(well not hate but you get the point)).😀

great app, I think this will be very helpful for me. I noticed a few bug/things that could help though.
1. I had a task with a long title and no steps. The task title and the due date were almost on top of each other (see attachment)
2. Team Members: enable lookup from Directories. In the contacts app there is another category called Directories for looking up contacts that don't exist in your personal address book, but exist in the company directory (Exchange). If this isn't possible then make it so You can manually enter names for Team Members.

Difference of how to call a person in Japanese
Hi Craig,
Yeah, the problem is how to shorten people's name in Japanese.
I love the function of "Team Members". It's easy to add some members from my contacts for later use.
But when I add some people from my contact, the first name and last name are displayed in English way.
For example,
John(1st name) Apple (last name) -> John A ( It's OK for English name)
But for Japanese name, we prefer this way.
Miyamoto(sir name) Suguru (1st name) -> Miyamoto S (sir name first!)
Cause we don't call a person for their 1st name in business .
I hope you will add some preferense to switch it.

A definite Yay on this one. Would be great if the list items stay after they're checked off (as in a permanent grocery list or other similar usages). Or if you can set a preference to keep or filter the items once they've checked off.

I love being able to use this program, which I found by accident and I am most excited about the upcoming updates. Like many others have spoken I would love to see iCal integration as well. I use iCal for most of my ToDo items (we use iCal at work so we are all on the same page) and so I have to double create them in your program.
Also, thank you for your responses here on MacRumors. Just being able to give immediate feedback is exciting. I would recommend all the changes you are making and furthermore recommend the reminders as well. I can't wait to be able to have a bubble appear reminding me in the next 'x' days I have 'y' items due.

Wow... I was about to purchase an app like this before I found iProcrastinate mobile in the app store. It's great, the UI is simple, and at first I didnt get Subjest and Groups, but now I understand that Subjects is just a folder, with tasks inside it. A little tricky, but 5 stars nonetheless. thanks for this great free app.
Hey guys, back for your opinion. I have an option to automatically edit newly-added tasks, but I haven't decided how I want it to work.
Options: (This all happens right when the user pushes the "+" button)
1) The view for editing the title pops up. The user can edit a title, then hit "Done." This will take the user back to the screen they hit the button from.
Advantages: Quick.
Disadvantages: Takes more taps to edit multiple values in an item.
2) The view for editing the title pops up. The user can edit a title, then use the navigation button in the upper left to go back to the main edit view for whatever item they're in and change the other values.
Advantages: 2nd Most Quick, Also Flexible
Disadvantages: Still takes a good number of clicks to get to the title, which is what most people want to edit at first. And most people not understand where they just navigated to.
3) The view for editing the item pops up. The user will then have to click on the title cell to edit that, or whatever other items.
Advantages: Not too confusing or "jumpy"
Disadvantages: Still need to click around, but it saves you one step.
I'm leaning towards option 3, but I want you guys' input before I go one way or another. 🙂

why not just put the editing of the title right in the main editor, rather than having to move into another menu to edit it? that would certainly make things easier, then you could just have it go to the maine editing page when you click the new not button.

Only issue I had was app crashed while entering the 12th task, but it managed to save the data entered for the task before it crashed. Entered remaining tasks with no issues.
In my opinion, this app would be worth $4.99 and would compete very well against similar apps in the App Store. I know some users want everything for free but you deserve to be compensated for your work.

What were you editing when it crashed? Did the application automatically exit to the home screen, or did you push the home button? Were you by any chance using the text magnification loupe? I still haven't found a fix for that bug yet. 🙂

Hi Craig - Nope, I wasn't using the magnification loupe. I was adding a new task, selected due date, app crashed and automatically exited to home screen. Launched app again, went to task I was working on, selected due date and everything was working fine. Only happened once. I still think its an awesome app. 🙂

It's really useful, mainly because Apple hasn't included anything like it on the iPhone.
I'd love to see integration with iCal on iPhone/Mac OS X. Is that even possible because of the sandbox Apple has placed you in?
Also, even though I love being able to choose my exact color, I'd love some pre-defined colors (as other people have mentioned). You should put the sliders in a sub-menu titled "custom" or something like that.
Again, great job. With the improvements listed above, I'd easily pay $4.99 for this App. Keep up the good work! It's great that you're offering this for free now - it gets your name out there! I now trust you that an app for 5$ won't be garbage like some of the others!

Was using again this morning and one thing stood out a mile (might be that I am dumb or missed something).
On the main screen where it shows subjects, it shows how many tasks are due today, but not how many I have missed.
So for instance I had an essay that was due to complete yesterday but on the quick Subject page it shows: History 2 Active Tasks (0 Today), so it looks like i am doing ok, when in reality one of the Active Tasks was actually due yesterday!
Any chance of having an 'Overdue' count?
So it would look like this:
2 Active Tasks (0 Today) (1 Overdue).
Maybe with the Overdue count in RED to show you are behind schedule.
Thoughts?

I'm going to start getting upset if you don't begin charging for this down the road. I understand that you're a student and that you're trying to make a great app for other students, and I believe everyone else agrees when I say "job well done". I'm getting my iPod touch in a few hours and I can't wait to start using your app. I'm actually a little disappointed that I don't have my fall school schedule yet to input.
Anyways though, so far as I've seen, you're the most dedicated developer to their app and to their customer base, and I would gladly turn over some money to you. Donation or otherwise. 😎
There is a donation link in the app, if you really want to. 🙂 But as much as I'd love to be getting paid to do this, I ask myself whether or not I'd download this app if it were $1.99, or whatever. I'd probably do it, but I don't think there's any way to know whether or not you'll like this app over the gazillion other iPhone task managers. Figure if I ever do develop a product worth paying for down the road, maybe people will remember my other apps and give it a try. 😀
