I've update my iPhone to the ios8 ipsw downloaded (not from iTunes / official from apple)

If I wanted to download the official apple iOS 8 ipsw when released, how do I restore my phone to this version, instead of the one I've downloaded early? Do I just select 'restore iPhone' in iTunes the day of the official release and iTunes will auto download the official ios8?
Hope this makes sense
Thanks

Yes we may have downloaded the file from source not directly from Apple, it still originally came from Apple's Developer Portal. And don't worry about the file being altered in some way. The file is verified during the installation process and would have failed if it was altered.

At the iPhone hacks section.
The GM you downloaded and the official release will be the exact same thing and same built.
You can plug it in to itunes and hit restore once the public .ipsw is out if you want but wont make any difference.
