iPod touch IPT Overheats

My IPT 2g 8gb keeps getting really hot on the bottom left hand corner!

I thought it might be because it's charging. But it's not I let it charg for an hour or so, to no effect. It when ever I use it for Internet games music (when ever the screen is on)
