I wanted to make use of accessibility button...and realized that I could use it as a home button.

Go to setting, accessibility, assistive touch, customize top level menu, and clear all the buttons except custom (tap -), press custom and set it to home...and wah la....home button.

Double tap it and it will bring background apps, tap once and it's home button. Pretty cool for those who haven't done this.

I'm not sure if there was a thread about it.

I thought about it myself. Tried to put it in the home button location but IOS keeps moving it around (I guess to avoid conflicting with other controls?). Ultimately decided to try it Apple's way and just go with the gestures. Got used to it pretty quickly.

P.S. It's "voilà".
