IR on Vista

Hi,

I'm trying to sync my Polar watch with Vista, but it doesn't have any IR devices. How can I make Vista see an IR device ?

This is mainly a Mac-only forum. I would try a PC forum to get it to work.

Yes, I realize you are probably running on a Mac with an IR sensor, but regardless, the majority of the people here use Macs as their main platform. Whether or not they have information on the Windows platform, I do not know.

Basically, for better results you might want to go elsewhere.

If it's a modern Mac with a remote the IR sensor for the remote cannot be used for anything else: it's not an IrDA port. You cannot use it for any data functions.
