I remember a while ago some one recommended iRetouch as the best photo editing app on iPhone. It`s down to 99 cents now. Is it any good??? I dont think I`ll be using such an app very often so I`d like to get the best one only. No point in adding another app which I might have to replace with another better one, considering my current library of 450+ apps:eek:.

So is this as good as it gets on iPhone? I`d settle for "one of the best" if not THE best too:).

I was going to wait to see some responses here before I pull the trigger, but you know what, for .99, I'll buy blind. :)

I'll let you know what I think soon.

After about 5 minutes, It's certainly powerful for such a small app. It's got a bit of a learning curve it seems, and will require time to play with it more to learn exactly how to achieve the desired effects. Right off the bat I don't like the fact you have to decide either Basic features (crop, brightness/contrast) OR Touch up features (Clone stamp, smudge...). You need to decide one or the other, and if you need both, you need to choose one, make your changes, save it, and then exit the app, relaunch, and start and reopen the saved photo in the other editing option. Each time you save an image, you are losing quality, so I hope they find a way to combine it all in a future release.

It seems solid. Not sure how I would compare it to Photogene yet, but for .99, I say grab it.
