As an iPad mini 2 owner, if the iPad mini 3 has 2GB RAM, then that could be a game changer for those upset with what little has been done to the iPad Mini 3. Are there any reports confirming 1 GB?

My biggest regret for my mini 2 is that it will choke when more intensive 64-bit apps start hitting the market. The iPad Air 2 is really looking like a great alternative -- now if it only came in a mini chassis.

There's really zero chance of Apple spending any resources modifying the SoC of the A7 to have 2GB RAM.
