iPad Pro Is 11.2.1 Safe ?

I was reading that 11.2.1 is ruining battery life is that the case on iPad ? Still using my OG 9.7 Pro here with 10 hour battery life I don’t want to risk it ?

11.2.1 re-added that tab blur that occurs when you switch tabs in safari and all the text is blurry for a second before it adjusts itself, that I had on earlier versions of iOS 11.

I don't see that blur with 11.2.1 on my Air 2. Battery time has been good - I don't see any real difference from 10.x.
