Sold my 1 wifi on another forum with apple case, neoprene sleeve one of those hard back covers and a pogo stylus, box, cords, papers.

For $240.00 including PP fees and priority shipping.

Guessing I netted $215.00. I'm OK with it, as I didn't have to screw with ebay.

I was going to sell my iPad 2 64 gig wifi only to Amazon for $435 but through it up on Craigslist just to see and got a lot of interest. Sold it for $475 cash to a very nice older woman. Had two solid buyers at that price. A bit more of a hassle but it was worth it.

In excellent condition I would pay between $225 and $250 for 32gig on craigslist. If it was a 16gig I would not pay over $200.
$180 trade-in is a bad deal for a seller. Even if it was a 16gig model it's still bad.

Yeah.. less 15% between ebay and paypal and your closer to 470. Not including shipping.
Seriously? Did you just make that up or pull that out of your a$$?
eBay charges 9% and PayPal charges 2.9%. If you're going to guess, try to guess close.

I was thinking of eBay fees for games, which IS 13%.

And to be honest, if your going to be self righteous you should post the correct fee.. yours is wrong as well.

"7.0% of the initial $50.00, plus 5.0% of the remaining balance ($50.01–$1,000.00)"

BUT, if you use eBays fee calculator on 550$ you take a 50$ loss with shipping and that doesn't include pay pal's 3%.

So, we'll say 500 @ 3% is another 15, and your out 65$.. not really a small fee by any margin, actually.. it's pretty damn close to 12% (11.8)
