Is $50 a good price for a 60GB iPod Video?

My brother's friend at school is selling a 60GB black iPod Video for 50 bucks. It is supposedly in good condition (the usual scratches, of course). Is this too good a deal to pass up? I'm not sure if I even want it that much, but I'm thinking I could sell it on eBay and make a few bucks even if I don't. What could I expect to get on eBay for one in this type of condition? Thanks!

Just the iPod, missing the cables, box and accessories right? At $50 it's a good chance to be stolen.

I'd advise that you stay away from this.

It could be stolen, but I'm pretty sure it was actually this kid's iPod. My brother is pretty good friends with him and he's a good kid. Anyway, it comes with the charging cable, at least. Say it isn't stolen; is this too good to pass up?

Assuming it's not stolen and it works?

    Yes, that's a great price.

That's what I wanted to hear. :D Thanks to everyone for your input. I'm going to have my brother ask him what I'd get with the iPod (i.e. the USB cable, any headphones, etc.) before I decide whether to buy it. I'll post back here if I do decide to purchase it.

Yes. However, make sure it's not stolen before reselling it.
