I have the 6S. I was wondering if you think the front facing camera is good enough?

Hey, look who it is :)

for social media, sure. for a 30x40 canvas over the mantle? not so much.

I don't take selfies as I prefer to be behind the lens. But like all photography the composition and lighting are more important than the megapixels.
Or you could always take this approach!

Lol!

In the last 1 year I've taken 2 sets of selfies - both when I cut my hair and wanted to be funny for the wife. Other than that, out of the 15k photos I take a year, I'm on the other end of the lens (the rear lens that is). :)

I don't understand selfies, but the again, if I was a pretty person, maybe I would. I don't need to be reminded how ugly I am. I avoid the mirror every morning if at all possible.

I will say, selfies are really big with moms who are the primary family photographer. My husband doesn't know how to use my camera and rarely offers to try. And when he does, he never gets the focus right since he doesn't get the idea of back button focus.

So if I want to be remembered, I have to take a selfie with my kids. :(

OT: the toaster, the car, the crayon, the wife.

She's not an inanimate object. This is no way to refer to her.
