is a new ipod touch coming out because the current one is 4 years old it was released with iphone 5.
Yes it is 2.5 years old, however, the internal hardware is from October 2011, which is nearly 4 years old at this point. So I can see it being called "4 years old" now.
I'm still hoping for a new one, too, though.
Well the Chipset is from 2011... However the rest is from 2012 - The screen, wifi and bluetooth for example. This is why it supports airdrop and handoff and neither the iPad 2 or the iPhone 4S do.
Oh? IPod touch 5 support handoff and airdrop??? Oh great. Great! Great work!
Do you know why apple use a5 instead of a6 on first gen iPad mini?
Yeah - they do as they have whatever Bluetooth and wifi that Apple introduced with the iPad 4 & iPhone 5 at the end of 2012.
I would assume that the A6 wouldn't have given then the profit margins they wanted on the iPad Mini + the A5 was still a pretty good processor at the end of 2012.
Things are not looking too good so far. I remember there was a leaked iPod touch 5th generation display back in May 2012, and since it's already late June, chances are slowly decreasing. However, they could just release one with updated specs and not change the exterior, so the lack of leaks can potentially signal that.is a new ipod touch coming out because the current one is 4 years old it was released with iphone 5.
Exactly. Like the guy who murdered his parents and then pleads with the court because he's an orphan.Apple will probably just stop selling it and blame it of lack of demand. That is what they do, they stop updating a product and the demand goes down and then Apple justifies killing it.
If there won't be an IpT6, I could just use an Ipad Air. However, it won't get used that much since it can't fit into my pocket. I won't be using my IpT5 much in due time due to requiring updates of ios8. I my just stick with the IpT5 on ios7 and finish out whatever games I can on that.I've lost hope. Still have my 5th gen iPod touch, but it really shows it's age. Thinking of getting an iPhone this October.
