one word: swappa

After 2 auctions trying to sell my old 64 GB VZW 6 Plus Space Gray with unpaid winners on eBay... I had invested 2 weeks into the process with nothing to show for it except for over $150 in fees.

Someone recommended Swappa.com, I scoped prices for a few days, listed my phone to move (it was already post announcement and thats when prices exponentially drop) and now only paid $350 for my new 128 GB Silver 6s. When they're only asking a $10 flat fee to sell, mandating IMEI numbers for protection of the seller + buyer, etc everyone wins.

Between that and Reverb.com (another online marketplace specifically geared towards musical instruments thats shaking up the used market) I'm done with eBay.

My plan is to sell my iPad Air 2 on there to offset my iPad Pro purchase.

I sold my unlocked 6 Plus 128GB for £540 on eBay (in US dollars thats like $800ish) but I think its more logical to do a straight £ to $ without currency conversion. So yes it is worth more than $400.

I sold a mint condition, unlocked 128gb Space Gray 6 this week for $565 on Swappa.com. I'm a new member there but the fee is fair and it sold quickly. Just an idea.

Only one response to my Craigslist ad (posted this morning). $450.

As I said, not really in a hurry. I'll give it a couple of days. Listed it in eBay using the $5 promotion. Listed in marketplace here.

I sold my gold iPhone 6+ 128gb for $540. And it had a light scuff on it. $400 is way too low in my opinion. Unless it has some flaws.
