Is "Announce calls" working for anyone?

Settings > Phone > Announce calls

I'd like Siri to announce calls / callers when I get a call when I'm on Bluetooth. I have this set to "Headphones & Car" and then... nothing happens. Ever. Truth be told, I think it was the same in iOS 11.

Is this supposed to work? Ideally Siri would say "You are getting a call from (known contact / unknown)" when I'm on Bluetooth...

I don't get enough calls to comment as an expert, but it has worked for me...and yeah, mine is set to headphones only I think, so no one knows who is calling me... 😉

It is working with my Airpods and 8+ with iOS 12.

Working fine for me on my VZW iPhone 6 with the latest beta. Last call was just a couple of hours ago...

Thanks, everyone! I need to do some more testing; I have yet to hear a single announcement - ever. Don't quite understand what is up with this.
