All iPads Is anyone actually buying this "our supply can't meet demand" thing?

Assuming it's launching near the end of November, it's gonna take them an entire month before they're able to ship them out regulary? WHAT A SURPRISE IT'S RIGHT AFTER THE HOLIDAY SEASON EH??????

Yeah... Apple totally wants to shoot themselves in the foot during the biggest buying season of the year. You totally got their game.

So anyone who was thinking about getting an iPad mini as a christmas present for a family member has only one choice now: buying the more expensive full size product!

Actually, they have three choices: they can also buy a Kindle Fire HDX or a Google Nexus 7 tablet. I highly doubt that Apple has ignored these options, which kinda makes the conspiracy theory fall flat.

I'm not against Apple, I love their products (iOS ones at least). I just think they're pulling some serious shenanigans here, ones that you don't expect from the biggest company on earth.

So punish them for their bad behavior: don't buy anything from them.

Sorry but that is silly. Im sure Apple wants to sell as minis as possible and not hear people saying im waiting for retina. Or stick a battery in it that will make it uncompetitive in the market.

It sounds silly but it's not a bad business strategy. If you can sell "A" knowing full well it'll sell millions, you would. You're saving the "A+" for the next cycle cause you also know it'll sell millions. The annual +'s Apple is releasing has become predictable.

You can say the same from iPad 3 to 4. Why did they even bother releasing the 3? Just for the sake of having the new annual iPad. It sold millions, yet they release the 4 months later, which also sold millions. People got pissed, but people still bought. There is at least an ounce of shenanigans in that particular product cycle, if not several of them

I apologize for bumping... But 1 year later, are your views still the same? Most people disagreed with me initially, but how about now? Do you not agree that Apple does not give 2 s about the mini?
