which from experience can be worse than camping out haha. I waited until 9:00pm for my iPhone 5S!!

Which isn't terrible when you know you're getting what you wanted.

The 5s didn't have preorders. Are you thinking of the 5?

The only camping out I will be doing is in my living room waiting for the door bell.

That's what I will probably be doing. :D The mail usually comes to me at 2pm, so I don't have to wait long.

I waited till 5pm for my iPhone 5. As long as it comes some time on launch day I don't mind too much.

I agree. As long as I get it, I do not care. It just felt like forever. I was pretty damn nervous when it was so late, and it was not delivered. I am sure the drivers hate "iPhone" day.

They get overtime. I'm sure they worry about theft, though.

Is anyone planning to camp out till the :apple:Watch release?

Absolutely no chance. I have never ever camped out for anything and I don't intend on starting now. It just seems foolish to me personally. I'll just preorder online and get it delivered. If that doesn't work out I'll try my luck by walking into a store and as a last resort just wait for more stock to be available.

Well the front page update has cleared this up. Its pre-order only seemingly with a choice of home delivery or collection from a selected retail store

Since we'll be able to preview the watch on the 10th and actually get the watch on the 24th, it isn't as exciting for me to camp out. Usually the fun from camping out stems from not being able to touch the device until the day it goes on sale. Better yet, not even being able to see it until the Apple Store drops the curtai. 1-2 hours before it goes on sale. I'll simply schedule some hands on time with the watch on April 10th and order mine for pickup on the 24th.

That's what I would probably do.

I'm gonna camp out in Tim cooks back yard. I plan on bringing some beverages, no what I mean.#

I was considering it a few months ago, but since it's a brand new category for Apple and there's not a good way to gauge supply and demand (or how many people will pre-order online), I've decided to just camp outside my front door and wait for the delivery truck.
