Is anyone considering Apple’s Clear Case over FineWoven?

Curious if anyone has considered Apple’s Clear Case over the FineWoven and if you already have one, what are your thoughts on it?

I usually grab the leather ones from Apple but as that’s not an option this year I opted for the FineWoven one. I’m not 100% sold on it yet but also not exactly excited about the clear case for a few reasons which I was hoping to also get answered:

• Does dirt/dust accumulate inside the case? I’m worried about the sides of the titanium getting scratched or chipped.
• I like to remove my case often but use it for the gym or any other physical activities, is it easy taking the case on/off? Will the case be damaged over time doing this repeatedly?
• For those that have had the current or prior version, do the buttons feel nice to click? How does the case feel overall over time?

I’ve used the clear case from Apple for my past several iPhones. I’ve been very happy with them. I don’t have any complaints really. They are somewhat slippery. I like that because it doesn’t cling to your pants pocket. I’ve never had an issue with dirt or dust inside. I don’t remove the case but it’s easy to do. The buttons have improved over time. They used to require quite a bit of pressure but the last couple of years the buttons have been noticeably easier to press.

I was at Apple over the weekend and did check out the fine woven cases. I had already ordered and opened the clear case. The fine woven seemed nice and very light. I guess I like the clear case because you can see the iPhone color.

I have the Apple clear case but it seems too slippery for me. I’ll gonna take it back. I do this every year hoping they improve it.

I got both. Currently using the FW case. The clear is my back-up if and when the FW fails.
Also have a bullstrap leather case on order for the 2nd year of use.

So curiosity got the best of me and I ran out yesterday to grab the clear case. If anyone cares I can share my thoughts at the end of the week which of the two I prefer, FW vs. Clear Case as one will be returned since I have no need for two cases.

Clear one is always my choice because I like to enjoy the phone back color. Covering phone color of choice defeats the purpose of selecting the color when ordering it😊

I’m planning to go caseless most of the time but need a case for gym and also for night mag safe charging given discoloration issues. I got fine woven and clear but I am returning the clear as it is too slippery imho. Just received the silicone which feels great in the hand. We will see how much of a li t collector it is over time!

I have for the first time the Apple clear case and for now there are no big problems. It is a little slippery but in my opinion that is all what I can complain about the case. The buttons are nice, MagSafe works great. It is to early to say how much dit it will accumulate.

I have it. It’s very clear, you can see the brushed titanium clearly, and I actually like the MagSafe ring.

Durability is kind of disappointing. They crack easily among the bottom edges and if you drop them even at a low height you’ll see cracks and dents on the case.
