A friend of mine was having this very problem a few hours ago on her iPhone 5. Killing the app in the multitask bar and rebooting the phone didn't help her.

So far, I have to wonder if its an iPhone 5 issue. My iPhone 4S and iPad [3], both on iOS 6, work just fine.

I've had problems with the App Store for the past two days on my 5. Everything worked fine except the Search page, I couldn't search for any apps, just gave a blank screen. I tried everything I could think of, until this morning I did an "Erase all Content and Settings," and now I'm set. It really shouldn't take that, though...

Same problem here. Been going on since earlier today...

Tried killing the app and rebooting multiple times....nothing. Glad it's not just me I guess.

Are you kidding me? erase everything just to get the damn app store fixed

I agree it shouldn't be at all necessary, but I basically had my iCloud account added and 3 or 4 apps installed, so it wasn't much of a loss. Still, there should be a better fix.

I'll try to hold out and see if a fix comes up because I have over 1,000 songs 500+pics and 80 apps...I really don't want to have to sync those again

Yeah, in that case I'd definitely wait. I'm sure there'll be a fix, I just tried everything I could think of (restart phone, quit app in the launch board, force quit the app, reset network settings, sign out and back into store, etc.).

Force quit the app, change date in settings to a year ahead, relaunch the app. Keeping the app open, multitask to settings and change date back to current date.

This works for most App Store screwups, so...

You are clearly, the man! :D Thanks so much!

In general iOS 6 App Store seems buggy and more leggy to me than ios5 did and that's on all my devices (ipad3,iphone5)

Mine wasn't working in the Search page. I couldn't search for an app, everything was just blank. It started yesterday but somehow fixed itself this afternoon. Closing the App Store, rebooting the phone and doing a hard reboot did no good. It randomly just fixed itself somehow though.

Wow, what a strange fix.

Thank you so much!
