I'm aware of that. But since updating to iOS 7.0.6 my iPhone hasn't being crashing like it did in iOS 7.0.4.

I also know people who were fine on 7.0.4 and have had a freeze and blue screen on their 5s on 7.0.6.

For this reason I want to stay on 7.0.4.

The problem with updating is, no 2 iphones will react the same... I have one 5s on 7.0.6 running flawlessly and another on 7.1 beta 3 running flawlessly, but when I was on 7.0.4 it was a nightmare for me.

This is the issue, if you aren't updating, at least install the patch from the Ryan Petrich repo, its not the be all end all, but its sufficient enough to protect you against most issues.

i was on 7.0.1 and just back up my device to itunes/openbackup.

updated to 7.0.6, restored my backup, then jailbroke using evasion 1.0.7, and restored all my jailbreak from openbackup. 12 minutes.

I did the same thing. Openbackup worked great. Made things so much easier.

I know and I don't want to be stuck on 7.0.6 where its bad with crashes and such. I think I am updating, but I do have the patch.

Updated on my i5 and rMini, performance and battery life remain the same as before (7.0.4). Is really worth for this update.

Outside of cydia I don't know any app that's root.

although the following don't have any form of payments within but the ones i know that run in root other than cydia are iFile, iCleaner (Pro), and BytaFont

I'm not sure about mobileterminal though

7.0.6 has been running on my iPad Mini Retina w/o major issues. (No JB; clean 7.0.6 install w/o any kind of restoring or iCloud back-synching.)

I dont use Bytafont and that leaves cydia, ifile, and icleaner pro, all of those im sure will have some kind of work around to protect them from the devs.
