Thought I'd post here rather than start a new thread.
Not a fan of the new lock sound.
It's a bit Ba-Doom-Tish for my liking and it's very loud. No chance of closing your phone surreptitiously any more.

Really? Why?I don't know why it matters but this disappoints me.
Annoying is when someone says something and you follow up with multiple questions to double-check they are actually talking about the same thing, they reply to your questions laughing them off (kind of like "why do you keep on asking me that when I already told you") and then keep on talking about it only later to admit that they were completely off and those questions were in fact meaningful, but it doesn't matter to them, and they instead turn to putting down the whole discussion even though they don't even care about it and spent a good time taking it in the wrong direction (even if unintentionally somehow). Yeah...that's annoying.Seriously? Get over it! S*** happens. I get annoyed when members get too serious. Life will go on and there will be another 100 posts about how their are no unlock sounds.
We are here to discuss anything iPhone related including possible bugs in iOS 7 to make sure we aren't the ones having the same problem. A bit abrupt, who loses sleep over software bug perhaps you think quite low of us. LOL
Back to the topic, just more curious than ever if there's a real reason behind it being gone that's all. Must be related to the Touch ID thing somehow. Could be that it may have a different unlocking sound added later on.
Perhaps because it was pointless.
Um.. turn off the lock sound problem solved.
Next.
I think it is a bug personally.
The sound setting has a toggle for "Lock Sounds".
I suppose you could argue two things here, firstly it is plural - it could mean Lock sounds that encompass both Lock and Unlock... however you could argue it just says Lock sounds (as in just when you lock it), but surely it should just say "Lock Sound" in the singular.
That's my logic anyway.
I'm smiling at how we got to 7 pages on this subject !
