We're currently paying way too much for sell service with AT&T. We currently have 4 phones and one iPad on our plan, and our daughter and son-in-law need to add their kids to their plan - so they want to do their own thing. My wife and I use about 5GB/month each, so we just don't see the need to pay AT&T prices any longer for unlimited data.

Consumer Cellular seems to have a pretty good deal at $60/month for 2 unlimited lines (or $50/mo for 2 lines with 10GB data/month). They have a money-back guarantee, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of switching and porting two lines and then having to port back.

So, two questions:

Do you use Consumer Cellular and is it reliable?
Do you use something else besides the "big 3" (ATT, TMO, VZW) and would you recommend your provider?

I switched to PureTalk a couple of years ago. I pay $52 for 2 lines unlimited text and message and 10Gb/5Gb (me/wife) per month data (can be increased for small $). Great service - had ATT. Cannot tell ANY difference in signal anywhere. Been to Mexico, Alaska and all over the lower 48. Consider them.
